2023年7月，利雅得新月报价姆巴佩，开出了1年7亿欧的史上最大合同，但遭到了姆巴佩的拒绝。

2023-24赛季，姆巴佩放弃了这个赛季的8000万欧忠诚奖金，以求巴黎不会让他整个赛季坐板凳&赛季末放人。

2024年5月，姆巴佩正式宣布赛季结束后离开巴黎。

据多家媒体报道，他将加盟皇马，税后年薪1500万欧左右，接近贝林厄姆和维尼修斯。而姆巴佩在巴黎的税后年薪约为3200万欧（不计算其他收入）。
